Fauci Ouchie Cross Stitch Set

I had just gotten vaccinated when I created these little beauties. After getting my second dose, the rush of relief I felt was indescribable. Knowing I could leave the house in (increased) safety, protecting my young son, and able to partake in the things I love; traveling, hugging people, and live music. This phrase was floating around social media, and I knew it would make the perfect little stitch/sticker.

Almost 6 months later, I am honestly surprised these are even still relevant, but here we are. With August being National Immunology Awareness Month, I figured it would be the perfect time to dust off these babies and showcase them. I don’t typically do a lot of multiple option stitches, but these finished pieces can be purchased individually or as a set. If you are new around here, you may not know that I really like to add “flair” to art when I can. Even when no one else will notice or it really adds nothing to the piece, it brings me joy and sometimes are an ironic nod. These stitches are some of those pieces. The “vaccine” in both of these are glow in the dark! Yes, there is glow in the dark thread, and it really does glow! I can never get good photos, so you will just have to take my word for it, lol. I can’t believe I have to say this, but no, the vaccine is not glow in the dark in real life and it won’t make you glow in the dark either….although that would be pretty cool.
